Weight loss is an obvious problem for many of us. There could be several reasons ranging from health conditions to slowed metabolism. Does that mean we can’t do anything about it? That all that’s left is for us to come to terms with the way things are now? Of course not. The experience of many people shows that it is enough to change just a few habits and the world becomes much slimmer. And fortunately it applies to everyone, no matter how old you are.
Weight loss is about changing habits
The first thing to do would be to look at our diet. A healthy selection of products with a properly balanced energy intake will ensure that we do not feel hungry and satiety will stay with us for longer. By no means is it a matter of strict adherence to a strictly prescribed as in a pharmacy. Thus, soon after the “prescription” is discontinued, the weight will return and the yo-yo effect can further make us dizzy. We are talking about changing our entire approach to nutrition. As long as there are no medical contraindications to weight loss and we are not restricted by any additional medical recommendations, shedding unnecessary weight should not be too much of a problem.
Life teaches that it is not a problem to shed pounds, the real difficulty is not to regain them back!!!
When starting dietary changes, it’s a good idea to stick to a few rules:
1. let go of evening snacking.
- Come to think of it, this seems like quite a breakneck challenge there is a simple way to deal with it. The first thing that makes us snack is alcohol. And it doesn’t matter whether a glass of wine or a glass of pear liquor, the effect will be the same. We start to feel more cravings and that’s it.
- Find an activity for the evening. Boredom is another element that keeps our hands busy with something. It is important that after the work is done, alcohol or a canapé is not a well-deserved reward for the work done, because the effect will be the same as before.
- Do you want to eat? Check if you accidentally confuse hawthorn with thirst. Evening is such a time when we all too often remind ourselves to eat. In the vast majority of cases, we confuse it with thirst. Therefore, if you think you are hungry, drink water.
2. eat during the day
This is a common mistake of those trying to lose weight. During the day, it is easier for us to forget to eat because we are simply busy with something. Whether it’s work or household chores that take up the vast majority of our day, and so it’s easier for us to forget about meals. And this is a very big mistake, because nature does not cheat. A hungry body will sooner or later recall the need for fuel, and in the vast majority we will then eat more than we need. And we won’t have to wait long for the effects in the form of weight gain.
3. don’t forget to rest
A rested body is more aware of itself and its own needs. He can correctly identify whether he feels hunger or thirst. Finally, it is during sleep that, come to think of it as si-fi for many, our body burns a great deal of calories processing the huge number of events that happened to us during the active part of the day. And so in conclusion, to quite convince us to get proper sleep let there be the undeniable fact that we simply deserve rest.
Summary
The only thing we need to remember is that as in everything we do so too this time to use common sense. Weight loss cannot be an intense attempt to change something for a short period of time. We must treat weight loss as a lifestyle change. Like something that is natural and necessary. Then, and only then, the results can surprise us very pleasantly, and the yo-yo effect will not even be mentioned. Which I wish for myself and everyone…. 🙂
