Tincture of pears – gruszkóka

Pear liquor is one of those drinks that is downright brilliant in its simplicity. Quick and easy to prepare and on top of that tasty and extremely wholesome. Pear Tree is also a memory of sunny summer and warm autumn days. When she had the opportunity to mature, while taking the best from nature, to then give back more than enough to this wonderful drink.

Ingredients needed

– 1 kg of ripe and juicy pears,
– 1 l of 70 percent spirit. obj. alk.,
– 300 g sugar.

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the pears thoroughly. Cut in half and then remove the seed nests
  2. Cut into pieces and put them in a large jar. Fill it to 3/4 of its height.
  3. Pour spirit over the pears, close and set aside for approx. Half a year in a shady place at room temperature.
  4. After 6 months, pour off the liquid from above the fruit, cover it with sugar and leave it for a week, shaking the jar from time to time.
  5. When all the sugar has dissolved, strain the syrup from the fruit and combine it with the alcoholic extract, then set it aside for 3-4 days.
  6. Filter the liquor and pour it into bottles, then set it aside for several months and the pear liquor is ready
