Pumpkin cream soup

Delicious pumpkin cream soup is a great option for a cold autumn afternoon. Nutritious and warming and easy to prepare. Taste is also added by unusual additives that make pumpkin cream a real work of art.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 medium pumpkin
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 liter of broth
  • 1 onion
  • lemon or lime juice
  • half a teaspoon of ground ginger powder or fresh ginger
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg, sugar
  • Approximately 100ml of 30- 36% sweet cream

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the pumpkin, cut it in half, clean out the seeds and fibers.
  2. Then dice together with the skin.
  3. Wash potatoes and carrots, peel and cut into medium-sized cubes.
  4. Peel and dice the onion.
  5. Put the pumpkin, potatoes, carrots and onions into a pot. Pour in the broth and boil.
  6. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Blend the soup until creamy.
  8. Season with lemon juice, ginger, salt, pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of sugar.
  9. Pour the pumpkin cream into a platter and top with the cream cheese
